Christy McGinity
Christy McGinity, a quintessential Californian, hails from the lively suburb of Burbank, just outside the bustling heart of Los Angeles. Her early years were filled with thrilling adventures, from the rush of dirt biking to the grace of ballet, where she first earned a standing ovation at the tender age of three, enchanting audiences with her solo performance to "She's Got Betty Davis Eyes."
From her beginnings in dance to her journey as a middle-aged achondroplasia Dwarf and a proud member of Sag/AFTRA. Christy has also made her mark as a reality Star on Lifetime TV's "Little Women LA." Today Christy took her motivational speaking to the next level, advocating for people with disabilities and diversities, and engaging in philanthropic endeavors.
Raised in an average-sized family, Christy absorbed the values of diligence and humility from her parents. They imparted a valuable lesson: the world doesn't revolve around you; you must revolve around the world. This early wisdom ignited a fierce determination within her.
Christy's journey was uniquely challenging, often making her the sole trailblazer and some would say Black sheep in her family. Despite the isolation, her unwavering belief in her life's purpose held strong. Her mission was clear: to help, educate, and protect future generations from the bullying and trauma she endured.
With boundless compassion, Christy embraces motherhood with pride, nurturing three beautiful children. Two have blossomed into thriving adults, a testament to her unwavering devotion. Despite the heartbreaking loss of one child, Christy's resilience and unyielding passion for change continue to inspire those who cross her path. Christy McGinity stands as a beacon of strength, determination, and an unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of others.
